Finished this cutie Friday night/early Saturday morning. The pattern calls for mostly red, white and blue. While it is a gorgeous pattern, I chose to de-emphasize the patriotic theme and make it more summery so that I can use it to decorate with all summer.
Excuse all the uneven stitches. I discovered, after a bit of stitching, that this was an inferior piece of cloth. I'm not sure where it came from, but some of the squares were uneven. Because it was just a few places in the center, I thought it would be fine. When I got to the upper left, though, it was a problem.
This is totally adorable! I'm going to have to buy it before the pattern is discontinued. :)
